Tat Chat is a group of people from all over the world that communicate via email. We talk about tatting... and anything else we happen to think of. Any non-tatting topic usually contains "OT" (for "off topic") in the subject line. There is only one rule. No flaming - be nice. Mean people will be unsubscribed.
To subscribe to Tat Chat please click here TatChat Sign-Up . You will see a page where you can sign up and set your preferences. Once that is complete, you will receive a confirmation email you have to reply to; once done, you are able to send and receive Tat-Chat email.
Members can access the TatChat Archives e-mail over the web too! You will need to enter your e-mail and that TatChat password.

Trying new chatting program out, OpenPHPChat. Need some feedback. This is an online chat forum. Choosen since it only requires html and you don't need to download anything special. The only problem we have is we can't synchronize the accounts since tatchat e-mail uses e-mail and not nicknames. So, you can pick you own nickname and use the same password as you do on tatchat to make it easy. If we don't like it we can try to find an alternative. (Please have some suggestions for alternatives!)
Note: I changed the timeout setting so people don't timeout in 10 minutes of inactivity. It is now times out in about 1 1/2 hours. But make sure you click on "Exit Chat" at the bottom right corner to exit, or you will appear online for the next hour and a half....
This is the second incarnation of TatChat, it started up on November 16th, 2003 at lacemakers.org. It got it's own domain, tatchat.org, on January 6th, 2004.
